This book is the definitive one for appliqué quilting. Colourful, easy to read and full of valuable tips for both beginner and experienced quilter. I am anxious to try lots of the techniques it suggests.

I picked up this book to use as a reference, and ended up reading it cover to cover in a single day instead! The writing is engaging and informative, and designed to be user friendly for novice and expert quilters alike. I was originally planning to get tips for a very specific project, and now find another half dozen project ideas bouncing around in my head that I can't wait to experiment with. I love how the three types of appliqué are all demonstrated and explained thoroughly while experimentation, improvisation and mixing of different styles is encouraged. Another plus is that the author does not assume that the reader has access to top of the line equipment, and gives plenty of tips for making do with what you have available. I am considering buying this book for at least three friends and family members now that I have read it myself.
